Subject:Please Help Unidentified Antique Chinese Painting Layered
Posted By: DAYLAN Tue, Jul 07, 2015 IP: 184.17.214.47

Hello and thank you all for taking the time to view the painting that I acquired.

It is about 12" tall by 10" wide I bought it from an estate of an elderly couple whom passed away... Everything in the house was very old..

This Painting seems to have an interesting background of two layers. I don't even know how to describe it other than that. If you look closely at the pictures you will see what I mean...

I would like to know who the artist is and era as well as the stamp meaning.

Also a value would be great.

Thank you kindly in advance for your time and wisdom!!!

If you need better pictures let me know :)

I have attached a few more pictures... I removed the painting from its frame and snapped a few more pictures for better clarity.

Also on the back size it is stamped with a number 145291 Hensley DG Bam Long W Mon Not sure what it all means.

Sorry my camera takes lousy pictures.. the white in photos is just reflection from the light.

Most likely painted in recent decades, little commercial value. The paper was made with the the small holes, and after being painted was mounted in the frame on top of a piece of green paper.
