Posted By: Claus Wed, Jul 08, 2015 Workmanship makes me believe these are imitations. A picture of the bottoms may confirm that. Imitations are plentiful in Indonesia and a wide selection is available in the stalls on Jalan Surabaya in Jakarta. |

Posted By: S.S Thu, Jul 09, 2015 To my knowledge,these two ceramics containers were from Sisatchanalai kilns ,in the north of Thailand.. They probably were retrieved from shipwreck sites in Indonesia. |

Posted By: Michael O Fri, Jul 10, 2015 Claus, thanks for responding. I agree that imitations are aplenty on the streets of Jakarta, or in Bangkok, for that matter, but I am sure that these I bought in an antique shop in Bandung from an old Indonesian Chinese couple are real. |
