Subject:Chinese or Japanese Flow Blue and Gilt Plate
Posted By: Tom Wed, Jul 08, 2015 IP: 199.59.106.195 This piece is confusing me. It looks like European flow blue style pottery, but it has the coloration of an Asian piece. Does anyone know what the name of this type of decoration is? It has an impressed mark on the back with either Chinese or Japanese characters, so I am pretty sure it's from Asia (possibly Chinese?). Thank you for any information you can give.
