We have two very similar vases, which have been in our family for approximately 90 years. I would be grateful for any information on them.

This is Japanese Sumida ware. The marking is the signature of Ban-ni.

Many thanks, ArJan. I certainly see the resemblance to sumida ware and the ban-ni mark. The styles seem to be fairly different to me too. I guess I'll keep searching for similar pieces.
