Posted By: Kirk Fri, Nov 20, 2015 I hear you. It's annoying when someone just tells you what something is not, but doesn't tell you what it is. This chair is most likely made of Dalbergia melanoxylon. This is an African hardwood that was imported in large quantities to China during the late 19th century. People call it blackwood; zhangshimu; and often call it hongmu. It is a zitan generic, but no, sorry. It is not zitan. |
