Subject:Chinese Porcelain Plate Identification Help Please
Posted By: John Thu, Oct 01, 2015 IP: 69.126.250.62 Can anyone help me identify the pictured Chinese plate. The plate approx. 7" in diameter. Any help with identifying the artist, age and any additional help will be greatly appreciated. |

It was copied by the Japanese at Arita. The glaze tone and iron spotting on your bowl make me think that it might not be authentic, or that it's degraded. That said, Kraak porcelain is not that valuable so faking it makes little economic sense. |

The mark on its base does not identify the maker but expresses an auspicious wish, read from the top right down and across in two stacks as 'May all blessings come to everyone' (Wan fu you tong - 萬福攸同). |
