Posted By: Bill H Sat, Oct 31, 2015 This pot looks similar to Chinese stoneware I've seen dated to the early 20th century (link) and likely made at a South China kiln. The biscuit seen at the foot has fired to an appearance similar to that found on older stonewares, such as the 19th century "Kitchen Qing" covered pot shown below, probably from the Shekwan (now Shiwan) kilns near Canton (now Guangzhou). |
