Subject:Please help Identify Chinese vase
Posted By: Michael Muenchausen Thu, Nov 05, 2015 IP: 174.32.29.187 This is a recent find; there seems to be a marking on the bottom but I dont know if it is post creation. It has a crackle brown glaze with some kind of organic wheat looking material as decoration. Streaked and in excellent condition. Please help me to identify the age or the artist. Thanks

Posted By: Bill H Mon, Nov 09, 2015 The mark looks to be the number 82, the vase a possibly mis-fired Japanese-style flambé piece that's not very old if I'm right about the numerical mark.
