I have a beautiful eggshell tea cup and saucer with a great butterfly pattern and was wondering who made it and from where

The marks reads 塩谷造 which can be pronounced either as 'Shioya zô' or 'Shiotani zô'.

The only useful reference that I found is a Japanese blog page which refers at the end to Shioya (Shiotani) Ketarô (塩谷加太郎), maker of Yokohama export ware. His name is mentioned in early Japanese publications from 1876 and 1879 (see link below with relevant pictures).
