Subject:Please help Identiy chinese mark

Posted By: Bill H Tue, Nov 24, 2015 The mark purports to be Guangxu (1875-1908) but the vase looks to be post-Qing transfer ware, in my opinion. A hand-painted period vase would have shown more wear than is evident, especially to the black in the pattern. Judging by the rough looking foot rim, I'd venture a guess of circa 1930 or later. |
