Posted By: kirk Sun, Jan 17, 2016 This is a wood type the Chinese call Longyanmu. It comes from the long cut of trees that produce a burl, about 2 feet below (dependent on particular sp) Usually Pterocarpus indicus, but there are various species that produce this burl the Chinese call Huamu. Usually among the Pterocarpus or Dalbergia genera, but can include: walnut & nanmu. |
