Posted By: Bill H Thu, Jan 07, 2016 The vase (or decanter?) apparently is Japanese. In that language the two characters, which look to be 康月 (Kougetsu) translate to "Moon/Month of Peace and Plenty". It is used as a restaurant name in Tokyo and might also constitute personal names with various other transcriptions.
