Subject:Help Identifying Chinese Mark on Censer 1426-1435 ?
Posted By: Steve Sat, Jan 30, 2016 IP: 124.191.102.8 Hi. Please help me to confirm a makers mark. I have searched and found a similar mark that was Ming Dynasty - Hsuan-Te Xuande 1426 - 1435. A close friend of mine purchased this censer while in China around 1972. He has since passed away. It is a tripod censer, bronze, 1 1/2" high and 2 1/4" wide. The height includes the loop on the rim.
