Subject:ID on an old chinese blue painted plate

Can anyone tell me anything about this plate?
It is old, I believe. It has some signs of age like the iron spots, a glazing with a special lustre and some grit stuck in the bottom.

Other than that I know nothing about it - can anyone tell me age, period or maker? Or maybe what the type of pattern is called?
