Subject:Please help me identify an antique Japanese hand fan

I inherited an antique Japanese hand fan from my great uncle.
I believe he obtained the fan during WWII, or around the 1940's. However I am not sure.
The fan is made of ivory and is hand painted. Unfortunately there are no date or stamp markings.
I am interested in finding out anything I can regarding the origin of the fan.
