Subject:Need Help w/ID for Japanese Modern Art Pottery Bowl

hi everyone. i've had this piece for a long time and always meant to post some picture of it here to maybe find out more about its origin. i've always thought it had a great mid-century modern look to it. the piece stands about 3 inches in height and measures about 10.5 inches in length from end to end. i apologize for the picture of the mark, but it's had for me to get a really crisp shot of it. any help in identifying the maker or the bowls origin would be greatly appreciated...thanks
