I wonder if anyone in the community can say about this Buddha is made of iron is old or new .

This is a rather beautiful buddha statue. His hands are in the Vajra Mudra gesture where his right hand is wrapped around his left index finger. This Mudra is also known as the six elements mudra or fist of supreme wisdom.

As this mudra is known mostly in Japan and Korea, I think that your buddha may be Japanese. I cannot say much about its age and can only make a guess by looking at the base that it is probably late 19th century to early 20th century.

Hope this helps. Someone else may be better able to provide a more accurate age of the statue.
