Subject:Help ID Maker's Mark

Hello, I'm trying to identify the mark on the bottom of a small, finely carved and painted figurine purchased from a Pacific NW, USA antique store. I believe the figurine is Japanese in origin. Thank you.

Hi,

The mark spells "Sei" 清 which translates to "Qing", that's the only thing I can tell about it.
Maybe some of the more specialized experts can tell more.
