Subject:Chinese Chimera Bronze Statue
Posted By: rico blaes Tue, May 03, 2016 IP: 69.139.54.3 Looking for any information on this Bronze Chimera statue recently purchase at an estate sale. I was told it was purchased in Hong Kong in 1968 and they were told it dated back to the Ming Dynasty. I can't find anything like it in my online research. The statue is 16" tall and weighs 25 lbs. It has mirrored tiles inlaid into the lion's mane. Thanks for your help ! Rico |
