Posted By: Moscheles Sat, May 07, 2016 IP: 199.59.106.195 Hi everyone. I think this is a newer frame but the plaques looks a bit older to me. Should I take it out the frame? Thank you. I have more pictures.

Posted By: Bill H Sat, May 07, 2016 In my opinion, the plaques come through from their colors and style of painting and washes to be about as new as the frames. I can't readily read all of the inscription, though it has a cyclical date of Guihai (癸亥), which most recently came around in 1983. The artist may have been trying to emulate Liu Xiren (劉希任) - 1906–1967).
