Subject:Pair of Chinese pewter candle prickets
Posted By: Elizabeth Rickenbaker Thu, May 26, 2016 IP: 96.80.39.233 I am interested to see if anyone can provide an identification for these candle prickets. Each depicts a phoenix standing with one foot atop the back of a kneeling dragon. I can't seem to find a database of Chinese pewter makers anywhere on the web, so I am completely lost as to the where/when/who of these impressive candle sticks. Any advice or lead would be greatly appreciated! |
