Subject:small marked blue & white sake cup

I'm sure these were mass produced, and given the mark on the bottom the maker wasn't too concerned with clarity.

Be nice to have a set but this is the only one. Any clues to age and origin would be interesting! Came from my grandmothers estate; she recently passed at 96. Thank you.

A tough call, but possibly "Juzan" (壽山) or "Seizan" (青山). I believe both names have been used by Japanese potters and studios since at least the Meij Period (1868-1912).

Best regards,

Bill H.
