Subject:Help translating inscription on Chinese or Japanese porcelain
Posted By: Karen Mon, Jun 13, 2016 IP: 198.45.220.180 Hello, would be grateful for any help translating this inscription on an old Chinese (or Japanese?) porcelain chopstick holder. |

Posted By: Karen Tue, Jun 14, 2016 Sorry--tried to post 3 different views and got 3 of the same instead. The back of the piece appears to be copper, with a deep patina and a hanging hole. No drainage holes in the bottom but I've seen some chopstick holders that also lack these. Thanks for any help or thoughts! |
