Subject:Teapot

Hello guys and women i have a teapot that i dont know anything about, how old and how much it can be worth. I ask you here cause i dont trust auction houses i sweden that they can give me a fair valuation. It has a marking under the lid awell but that marking is faded so you cant see what it says.
But the marking under the pot is clear as shown on the pictures.

Best regards Jonas

You have a Yixing teapot. I am no expert but the texture of the surface suggests the clay was hand-mixed, more desirable than mechanically mixed clay. If the lid fits nice and tight--doesn't wiggle around, that's good too. Values of these range from nothing to very high--a better-informed forum member may be able to tell you the maker, age, and value of your teapot.
