An expert here had pointed out that provenance plays a very important part in the authentication of any object. Which brings me to ask you how and where did you acquire this mysterious bronze piece. What were you told when you acquired it? I am puzzled how you got "stuck with" something you dont know about since, from your other postings, you are certainly no stranger to collecting Asian antiques. Or perhaps you dont own this bronze? Maybe some answers from you would help.

To Michael O,
1st, I have to admit that English is just a 2nd language for me. I did try my best to explain things, using my limited vocabulary. As so, to my understanding, "stuck" really means stuck.

2nd, yes, I am collecting Asian antique, and I'm Asian, but not Chinese. The only thing I know about this piece is that It's not from where I grew up.

3rd, it's my habit of finding/acquiring antiques. This piece fell into a case of fast acquiring, when I did not even have time to dig in the history, which (to my habit again) would be done after I own the piece, otherwise the chance would be gone.
Maybe, it's not your way or "an expert"'s way, or a common way..., but it's my way of doing things.
So pls help if you can tell information, or stop being curious of others' works.

Nguyen,
You had missed my point completely. I am not being curious. If you really want help from the experts here, you need to provide more information and better pictures.

No one can advise you how to spend your money. From my own experience, it is never wise to rush into any purchase, especially when pressed by the seller. That is the oldest trick in the book, but then if that's your way, so be it.

Hopefully some experts here can give you accurate information on your bronze piece. All the best!
