Subject:Identification of an Ancient Chinese Plate
Posted By: Ahmed Al Aboosi Sat, Jun 25, 2016 IP: 50.100.248.81

Hi,
I'm newbie here and this is my first post. I've acquired this plate and have no clue about it, but I believe it's very old. Can you please help me to identify the origin and date of manufacture? Is it authentic?

Thanks

Your plate dates to circa 1900-1925 (late Qing-Republic era) and has an apocryphal mark of "Made during the (Ming) Chenghua Reign" (Chenghua Nian Zhi).

Best regards,

Bill H.
