Subject:Chinese porcelain charger
Posted By: Gene Purdum Fri, Jul 08, 2016 IP: 207.174.242.6 Would appreciate any additional information about a Chinese porcelain charger, about 18" diameter. On the back are several 1/2" metal staples (barely visible in the photo). The marks appear to be "Da Ming Chenghua Nian Zhi" ("Ming Dynasty Chenghua Period Make") [mark 1349 on the Gotheborg.com site] and are under the glaze, not printed on top. Would like to know approximate age and value, maybe name of the pattern/scene. Thank you! |
