Posted By: Bill H Fri, Jul 22, 2016 The mark reads down and across from the top right as "Made in Macao" (Aomen Zhizao). I believe this kind of transfer decoration in the rose medallion style has been and likely still is being made at painting factories in both Hong Kong and Macao since at least the 1960s-1970s. Gotheborg shows a related mark on a 1970's vase that reads "Enameled in Macao" (Aomen Jiacai - literally "Enamel added at Macao"). |
