When inquiring about an object, it is always helpful to include a photo of the object, even if you only want translation of the marks, since comparisons to other works by the same artist allows the translator to verify the plausibility of their translation prior to posting.

This verification process would likely generate additional leads for the original poster.

It is also helpful to make sure the photo of the marks is as close as possible, and clearly focused in order to assure the best possible chances for success in translation.

Best regards
Gman

Just to clarify my previous statement, an image search of either translation will produce photos of bronze tigers.

However, the tiger by Kiyomitsu saku, is usually displayed on a base, while the tiger by Atsuyoshi saku is usually not on a base. Of course it is possible that other tigers by both artists may or may not be on bases.

Additionally, the signature on the Atsuyoshi tiger usually includes the seal of the foundry, the Maruki Company, and does not resemble the signature in your photo. However, the signature on the Kiyomitsu tiger is similar to the photo above. (see link below)

For a page showing the Atsuyoshi tiger see:

You can zoom in on the signature in the upper left corner.

The link I posted above for the Kiyomitsu Saku Crouching Tiger was a fail, try this one to see the photos:

Here's the info on the statue:

Japanese Bronze Crouching Tiger Signed by Kiyomitsu Saku Meiji Period, 1868-1912. This is a beautifully modeled Japanese bronze crouching tiger, very carefully cold worked with beautiful detail. An excellent example of late 19th-early 20th Japanese bronze work rendered in highly realistic style. Signed. L. 23" H. 8" (5 cm x 20 cm).
