Subject:Kinkozan tsukuru vases? Unusual design
Posted By: Katie Sun, Oct 09, 2016 IP: 203.122.193.23

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me learn a bit more about these vases please.

I have discovered that the stamp is Kinkozan Tsukuru, but I haven't seen any other vases that look even remotely similar.

My mum bought them approx. 45 or so years ago from an auction for around $15 at the time because she liked them.

Would they be of any value outside my mother's enjoyment?

Thank you. I appreciate any help.

In my opinion are two vases by Kinkozan. A 1930's deco' production. They are a couple in good condition and their value could be 600-1000 $.

Dear Mario,

Thank you for taking the time to reply and for sharing your knowledge. Wow, that's more than I expected and am very happy to let my mum know. She'll be very pleased that her 20 year old self had such good taste!

Thanks again.

Kind regards
Katie
