Posted By: Michael O Thu, Nov 03, 2016 Rather than a foo dog, what I see is a man, most likely a "luo han" standing astride a dragon. It is not easy to make out the handwriting. The first 3 letters from top to bottom reads like chao de jia 超德家. (I may be wrong.)
