The would appear to me to be a better looking, perhaps recently launched generation of faux Japanese-pattern ceramics painted and re-fired by the Yong Sheng (Eternal Victory) porcelain Ornamentation Factory, which has a location in Hong Kong.

If you go to the forum search feature at the top of the post and query "yong sheng" you can pull up past discussions. Or just check out the link below, which has about all I know on the subject.

Best regards,

Bill H.

Hello
I have a similar pattern vase marked "dai nippon" and a circle with cross.
So it seems to be japanese ware.
1930 1940?
