I purchased this very old looking hair piece thing at a flea market a few weeks ago. I have been trying to find out what it is, what it was used for, hold old it might be and any other information I can find out about it. It has wire around the edges to give it its for. The hair is braided and sawn into black fabric which can be seen on the back of the piece. Two dangling rope braids with loops on the end. It's size is about 7 inches by 4 inches. Any information on this item would be much appreciated. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks, I hope someone can help me.
