Subject:Victorian scrapbook with 53 Chinese Pith watercolours
Posted By: Tom Fri, Dec 02, 2016 IP: 2001:1c06:0f01:a300:

Hello,

I've recently acquired this scrapbook with a lot of interesting material. Beside some old foto's and German handwitten documents it contains mainly Chinese watercolors.

After doing some research online I've found a lot of reference material about mainly single peaces. Whole books however look to be al lot rarer.

In the book are watercolors with different subjects. The proportions are: 18x11 cm (most), 9x6 cm (4 times); 14x11 cm (landscapes).

Can someone give me some more information about the rarity of the individual pieces of the book as a whole? And I would like to get an idea about the value. I will not sell them individually.

The pictures can be found on my google photo page:

Greetings,

Tom
