Posted By: John M Sun, Dec 04, 2016 IP: 80.2.119.169 Hi. I'm looking for help. I have a number of scrolls in my collection where I have no idea as to the artist. The first is a landscape. |

Posted By: John M Tue, Dec 06, 2016 Hi Rat. Many thanks. There is a Major General Li Ye (born 1903) who is a noted artist. It may be him. |

Posted By: John M Tue, Dec 06, 2016 Hi Again. Apparently there is also a contemporary Chinese artist Li Ye (b1974) which is more likely. |

Posted By: rat Wed, Dec 07, 2016 this is a recent picture, not by the general, perhaps by the guy born in 1974. however the quality is rather low I'm afraid, so maybe not by a recorded artist. |

Posted By: rat Fri, Dec 09, 2016 Agree with John R. You can find better works at reasonable prices. The name of the "rooster in exploded view" artist seems to be Zou Wei ้นไผ |

Posted By: John M. Sat, Dec 10, 2016 Many thanks for both your help. To be honest I paid very little for them and did not expect them to be worth enough to retire on. I was just interested in what the inscriptions and signature were. All the best and thank you again. |
