need help in identifying this hallmark on this 18 inch charger. is it chinese? if so, how old? much appreciated

Hi James,

The 4 characters are: 成化 年製 = Chenghua Nian Zhi.
Something like: made in the (emperor) Chenghua period (1465-1487). Probably not from that period, but perhaps someone with more experience on Chinese matters can tell more.

Eventually, Japanese Edo period Imari with fake Chinese reign mark - 18th to first half 19th century?
