Subject:Re: Oracle bone translation need help!

I'm tempted to ask "ARE YOU 'AVING A LARF!"
There are so many inconsistencies that make any thought that this is a genuine 'oracle bone' quite impossible.
First, the large characters are in a form that follow the JiaGuWen (Oracle Bone) characters by a couple of thousand years. The character in the rondel is relatively modern, and I have not ever seen a sunburst pattern like that in traditional Chinese art (granted I still have a lot to see).
The small characters appear to be a complete fantasy, albeit that they occasionally show some similarity to actual characters. And the bone itself looks like it has not been so long from a cook pot.
I think someone has had a lot of fun doing this, and hopefully pretending this is a genuine oracle bone.
