Subject:Opinion about an Asian painting on a Limoges plate
Posted By: Ray Sun, Feb 19, 2017 IP: 2602:0304:cf5f:5970: This is a strange mix of a French Limoges plate from late 1800's and an Asian painting. Any opinion as to the quality of the painting and also if the artist (Shirava?) is well known? Any opinion or comment is appreciated.

Posted By: Tim Thu, Mar 02, 2017 Looks quite possibly to be a French Aesthetic Movement plate. Although it was an English style, many continental makers produced items in that style.
