This is my rough translation of the text,
in bad English,
New moon and evening rain easily passes
However, the soul is still remembering the pure cry,
Everyone wants to know the reason of the sullen mark on her face,
As a matter of heart she only knit
her brows,
眉黛更無言 and remains even more silent.
(It can be a Japanese poetry written in classical Chinese (Kanshi)
Year of Wood Rooster
(....1765,1825,1885...)
On a Summer Day
Kyozan Daisui, Great Drunkard Resident of the Mountain(s)
( Art Name)
Seal
印 Seal of Sansatsu ?
(I can't read the 3rd character. May be 閊)
I did not find any related material on the net
about the painter.
With regards,
I.Nagy
