Subject:please help to translate
Posted By: jakub Wed, Sep 13, 2017 IP: 31.42.0.208

I apologize for my English, but I do not spend enough time learning the language. I did post earlier, but I guess I was misunderstood because I did not get an answer.
I can buy four small, painted images 20x15cm. They are not cheap, so I would like to ask you to translate what they write on them and I would like to ask for some opinion about the kind of painting.
Under the link there is a gallery. Unfortunately, I will not have better picture quality until I buy the images.
Thank you and best regards Jakub

According to my opinion the pictures are from two painters, but in either cases the calligraphy
is a real challenge because of the style, which is
very much wiped and dashed or too much individual.
Here are the results of my reading attempt,

1st pix (River and pavilion)
丁亥年時春 Year of Fire Pig (...1827,1887..)
Spring Time
清川...Quiet river... illegible
居主估 Ju Zhigu (Signature)- if I am right- but it does not coincide with the possible reading
of the seal.

2nd pix with the cranes,
富貴壽考 Wealth, rank and long life
丁亥年時春 (Same dating with the 1st pix)
Continuation of the text wit the signature is illegibly dashed.
Seal reads,
伸徳 Shen De (The person who extends virtue)
This can be the art-name or courtesy name of
the painter.

3rd pix,
清流 Clear stream
I am not sure with the signature, it can be
淋玉兆 Lin Yu Zhao (Last charater Zhao is sure)
The seal reads different, but I am not sure about the correct reading.

4th pix,
明視異奥 Something strange is visible inside
The rest of text and seal is identical to 2nd
pix.
Sorry for having you kept waiting with the answer.
With regards,
I.Nagy

You do not have to apologize because I should thank you and thank you for the answer. It is your good will to help someone, not obligation. This information is very useful to me. I could not read even one character myself.
Thank you very much and best regards Jakub
