Subject:Dzi stone from Nepal
Posted By: David_91 Sun, Oct 01, 2017 IP: 178.7.96.184

Hey community,
some days before the eartquake in Nepal in 2015 I got a neclace from a nepali friend. It took place in the village of Gatlang in Rasuwa District, Nepal.
He told me that its a heirloom that has been in his family for an unknown time. I didnt want to take it but he explained that it would be an insult if I wouldnt.
I wore that neclace everyday since and it has a great personal value for me. The thing is that I dont really know anything about it and its so hard to find genuine information about it.

I really hope to meet some people here that can help me out. I would be gratefull about every information about the neclace. It's a black and white (Dzi stone?) and two orange stones.

If the pictures are not good enough to tell anything about the neclace tell me. I will get a better camera and try it again. If you need any further information just ask. It's hard for me to figure out what kind of information could help.

And please don't wonder about my english... it's not my first language.

Greetings David

These look to me to be fired glass beads not natural stone.

Show them to a geologist or jeweller
