Subject:Unusual Signed Plates with FROGS solders
Posted By: Angela Wed, Nov 15, 2017 IP: 148.77.36.202 Hello, I'm trying to find the name of the artist for my set of Japanese plates. I have six plates depicting frogs as Japanese soldiers. Each plate is signed, very unusual and nice design. I was told it was a famous artist, but I'm not sure. |

I have two vases decorated by him showing frogs in a pond in various poses suggesting a mother frog with mischievous offspring. The use of frogs here as soldiers corresponds with his whimsical treatment of frogs. |
