I found this old Buddha recently and would love to know more about it.
I think it is cast iron or bronze --It attracts a magnet.
Approx. 6.5 in
Red hue to the robe.
Patina throughout.
Gold residue to face and neck
Low ushnisha.
Someone filled the bottom with white plaster.
Also, strangely, there is some kind of waxy material in its nose. And, there appears to be brown clay-ish dirt or residue on it too.
I'd love to know how old it is. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.
