Posted By: plasticman Mon, Dec 18, 2017 Yes, it appears you have a period Chinese Imari plate from the early 18th century. If I owned the plate, I would remove the old iron hanger device. It was placed, probably, in a European country many years ago. It may "stain" the enamels or mar the edge finish. |

Posted By: plasticman Sat, Dec 23, 2017 Please see the listing of Richard Gould antiques in L.A., Cal. Under Chinese export porcelain, there is a plate almost an exact match as to border and style. It is listed as c.1700-1720.The Gould firm has dealt in Chinese porcelains for many years. I trust their affirmation. |
