Any help with identifying this chinese vase's marking, age and value is highly appreciated!

I believe the lotus scroll motif on yellow ground seen here has been around since at least the Ming dynasty. The mark reads "Made during the Yongzheng Reign of the Great Qing Dynasty", which would mean the 1723-35 period if your vase was authentic, which unfortunately it isn't. The foot on this vase has been roughly reduced on a grinding wheel to remove glaze runs, then apparently artificially dirtied to resemble age, which is characteristic of fakes produced in the 20th century and later. Also, I include an auction result (link) where a Qianlong-marked moonflask of essentially the same form and decoration as yours sold for 60 pounds sterling (US$82) slightly more than two years ago in the UK; not a result to be expected if any bidder had thought the piece to be real.

Best regards,

Bill H.
