Subject:Chinese Artist and Translation
Posted By: Mike C Wed, Jan 31, 2018 IP: 173.91.220.45

Hello. I have recently acquired two paintings which I believe are Chinese. They appear to be watercolors, and feature different vegetables on them. I was wondering if someone would be able to help with translating the text on them as well as possibly the artist? Thank you in advance.

I'll try my best here!

The artist's name is Zhang MIng Xuan. The first photo shows his name in the red seal, but with an extra fourth character, which I can't recognize. The second photo shows two red seals: his surname, "Zhang", on its own and above it, his given name, "Ming Xuan".

Third photo red seal is a different artist, I think it's "Kang Yong XXX XXX" can't read the other two!

First photo black writing: Autumn Protection. 1992 written by Xuan.

Second photo black writing: Health Good Product (unreadable) written by Xuan.
