Shikishi 1,
福寿海無量 -
There is no limit on the quantity like a big sea when
we seek for happiness and long life.
(A phrase from the Zen "Kannon Sutra")
龍雲山主 - Ryuunzan-shu (Name of priest)
Shikishi 2,
百千萬年一瞬の夢
流水行雲我と一体
真實能一路黙々と歩む
浮きつ津の心 六十一歳の
春 還暦所感
昭和四十年四月
枯華清萬
Hundred, thousand and ten-thousand years is but a dream,
In conjunction with flowing waters and flying clouds
just walking on silently on the path of truth with
flouting heart
On the spring of my 61st year - My impressions on the 60th birthday
40th year of Showa (1965) April
Koka Seiman (Name of priest)
(According to the seal the Koka could be Senka, but I cannot reproduce the right character on my PC)
As of the 3rd shikishi I am not sure with the reading. I have to check the calligraphy in calligraphic dictionaries.
With regards,
I.Nagy
