Subject:Re: Please Help With Mark On Large Chinese Charger

This is a Chinese contemporary transfer decorated product of a Hong Kong ceramics ornamentation company that uses different markings, including the one here, reading in pinyin "Yi Qian Tang Long Nian Zhi" (義謙堂龍年製), meaning "Made in the year of the Dragon for the Hall of Righteous Modesty (or humility)". Apart from its size, the weight comes from the material being thick pottery instead of stronger and thinner porcelain.
If you'd like to see other decorative items made by this factory, just use the forum search tab at the top right of your post and enter the pinyin terms provided herein (without quotes).
Best regards,
Bill H.
