Subject:Help please identifying artist, inscription, value ?
Posted By: Jeff Coster Wed, Jul 31, 2019 IP: 146.200.65.171

I was presented with this painting around 1980 for helping to train some Chinese Electronic Engineers. They said a famous local artist had been commissioned to produce the painting. Local would possibly mean Cheng Du, as that is where they were from. I believe the inscription says something like House of Guo Moruo.

The last inscription was on the back of the scroll.

Any help would appreciated.

"Mists and Cloud on Emei shan (Mt Emei, one of the four sacred buddhist mountains of China, located in Sichuan)" Dated 1984 by the artist, 1985 on the titleslip. Artist's surname is Li, but am not quite able to read his given name correctly. Not sure what connection exists if any to Guo Moruo.
