Subject:Could someone please help identify this piece.
Posted By: Kim Ale Thu, Aug 08, 2019 IP: 58.230.185.79

A scroll has been sitting around for the past three decades, never really scrutinized until today. I have no idea what it is, and what its meant to be.

Could anyone add info about when, where and who made this for what purpose.. I'm intrigued, but googling hasn't been much help so far. The scroll is over 15 meters and i'll definately add more photos if it would help.

Thank you for your detailed response I.Nagy.

This is greatly appreciated, also just to clarify is it a copy of Yu ZhiZhi's work or is he the painter of this particular piece?

Also, is it possible to know when this would have been made?

I wish I had your insight to read whats going on...

Thank you I.Nagy once again.

Dear Kim,
It should be a museum repro or copy, as long as the original is one of the treasures of the Heilongjiang Provincial Museum in Harbin.

With regards,
I.Nagy
